Data Deletion Request — Laser Grid Untangle

Laser Grid Untangle ("the App") is developed by Baybars Interactive ("the Developer"). This page explains how to request deletion of data associated with the App, what gets deleted, and what is kept.

The App has no account of its own. It never asks you to register, and the Developer operates no server that stores your data. Because of that, most deletion is something you can carry out yourself, immediately, without waiting on us. The steps below cover every category of data the App touches.

How to request deletion

Option 1 — delete it yourself (immediate)

  1. Game progress on your device — uninstall the App, or open Android Settings → Apps → Laser Grid Untangle → Storage → Clear data. This erases your level progress, star ratings, best times, daily streak, hint credits and settings. It is immediate and cannot be undone.
  2. Cloud-saved progress — this is stored in your own Google account through Play Games Saved Games, not by the Developer. Open the Play Games app, go to its settings, and use the option to delete Play Games data, selecting this game. Google sometimes renames these menu items between versions; if you cannot find it, email us and we will point you to the current path.
  3. Advertising identifier — open Android Settings → Privacy → Ads and choose Delete advertising ID, or reset it. This stops the identifier being shared with ad networks.

Option 2 — ask us (within 30 days)

Email info@baybarsinteractive.com with the subject line "Data deletion request". Please include:

  • the Google account email address you use with the App, and
  • your Play Games player name, if you have signed in.

We will confirm receipt and complete what is within our control within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm the request from the same email address, so that nobody can request deletion of somebody else's data.

What is deleted, what is kept

Data What happens Timing
Local game progress — levels, stars, best times, daily streak, hint credits, settings Deleted by uninstalling or clearing app data Immediate
Cloud-saved progress (Play Games Saved Games) Deleted by you, from your own Google account. The Developer never receives, stores or reads it Immediate
Play Games player ID Deleted with your Play Games account data. Held by Google, not by the Developer Per Google's own policy
Advertising identifier Deleted or reset by you in Android settings Immediate
Analytics and crash reports (Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics) Deleted. Tied to an app installation, not to your name or account. Uninstalling ends collection; on request we delete what remains Up to 30 days after request; Google's own retention otherwise
Purchase history (Remove Ads) Kept. Held by Google Play as the record of your purchase Retained by Google under its financial-record obligations. See below

Why purchase history is kept

Google Play — not the Developer — records that a purchase was made, and keeps it as a financial and tax record. The App never sees your payment details; it only asks Google whether the Remove Ads entitlement is owned. That record is also what restores your purchase when you reinstall the App or move to a new device, so deleting it would remove proof of something you paid for. Purchase records are managed through your Google Play account, at https://play.google.com/store/account.

Data held by third parties

Analytics, crash reporting and advertising are provided by Google (Firebase, AdMob) and Unity (LevelPlay, Unity Ads). Where you want to exercise rights directly against them, their own privacy tools are linked in Section 2 of our Privacy Policy, and they apply their own retention periods, which we do not control.
